The Biddeford girls' basketball program will be hosting the Tiger Tip-Off Classic on Friday and Saturday. There will be seven games played over two days. Admission is $4 for adults and $2 for children/seniors. Participating teams include McAuley, Old Orchard Beach, Portland, Kennebunk, Lewiston, Richmond, Oyster River, N.H., Kingswood, N.H., and Biddeford.
The Maine LobsterMen will hold tryouts from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Riverside Athletic Center. The LobsterMen compete in the American Lacrosse League. The season consists of 10 regular-season games from March to May. Playoffs run from May to June. Games are played Sundays throughout New England. Players must be at least 18 and members of U.S. Lacrosse. Players on current NCAA rosters are not eligible. Questions should be directed to Deke at (207) 841-2453 or email at 207lacrosse@gmail.com.
