Bulletin Board

The Maine USATF fall cross country program will hold the first of five preliminary meets on Sunday at Smiling Hill Farm in Westbrook. The entry is $4 and USATF registration is required, which costs $15 for youths and $30 for adults and is available at all meets. Registration begins at 12:15 p.m., followed by a course walk at 1 p.m. and the race at 2 p.m. Contact Ron Kelly at 883-2747 or rkelly01@maine.rr.com.

A Ride For Roger is a four-player scramble tournament to be held at Nonesuch River Golf Course at 9 a.m. on Oct. 12. Proceeds will be used to purchase a van with a wheelchair lift for Roger Pinette, an Old Orchard Beach resident diagnosed with ALS. Contact Tony Conroy at aconroy21@gmail.com for information.
