FREEPORT – Mimi Lyon-Edmondson converted a breakaway with three minutes left in overtime to lift Greely to a 2-1 victory over Freeport in a Western Maine Conference field hockey game Friday.

Freeport (5-8) led throughout the second half after a goal by Hannah Williams five minutes before halftime, but Cathy Demick scored off a penalty corner with time expired to send it to overtime.

Sabrina Thompson made five saves for Greely (4-7-1). Morgan Karnes had 19 saves for Freeport.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 2, SACOPEE VALLEY 1: Emma Randall scored midway through the second overtime to give the Panthers (11-1-1) a win over the Hawks (0-10-1) at South Hiram.

Sacopee Valley’s Abigail Ouellette started the scoring eight minutes into the second half. Juliana Tardif evened it 12 minutes later.

Elizabeth Coughlin made three saves for NYA. Chloe Ronco had nine saves for the Hawks.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 1, KENNEBUNK 1: Jackie Murphy converted a feed from Kristen Koch in the second half as Kennebunk (7-4-2) earned a tie against Fryeburg Academy (5-6-1) at Kennebunk.

Emily Davidson scored in the first half for the Raiders, and Jasmine Ramsey made four saves.

Liv Kudas stopped 11 shots for Kennebunk.

YARMOUTH 3, TRAIP ACADEMY 1: Katie Overhaug had a goal and an assist, and Lily Daggett and Kallie Hutchinson also scored for the Clippers (8-4-1) against the visiting Rangers (4-3-1).

Daggett scored from Emma Peterson after four minutes. Overhaug made it 2-0 midway through the half.

Overhaug set up Hutchinson three minutes into the second half, before Ashleigh Roberts answered five minutes later.

Victoria Messina stopped three shots for the win. Taylor Kashmer made nine saves for Traip.

THORNTON ACADEMY 3, BONNY EAGLE 1: Morgan Dube scored in each half and Grace Pickering added a goal and an assist as the Golden Trojans (10-3) beat the Scots (4-6-2) at Saco.

Bonny Eagle averted a shutout on a goal by Cassidy Merrill with 1:16 left.

Gabby Capozzi stopped four shots for Thornton. Bonny Eagle’s Ashlyn Wintle made nine saves, including one on a penalty stroke.

LISBON 6, WINTHROP 1: Olivia Harrington scored three goals to lead the Greyhounds to an MVC win in Lisbon Falls.

Arianna Kahler added two goals for Lisbon (10-2-1), while Molly Nicholson had a goal and an assist.

Catherine Ouellette scored an unassisted goal for Winthrop (10-2-1). Alyssa Arsenault made 15 saves.

SACOPEE VALLEY 1, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 0: Courtney Ryan put home Morgan Carpenter’s rebound three minutes into overtime to lift the Hawks (5-6) over the Raiders (3-5-2) at South Hiram.

Madison Day earned the shutout with five saves. Sydney Charles stopped 12 shots for Fryeburg.

MASSABESIC 2, SOUTH PORTLAND 1: Kailey Daigle scored with 4:20 remaining to lift the visiting Mustangs (5-5) over the Red Riots (1-9-1).

Abby Young started the scoring for South Portland in the 12th minute, with an assist from Stephanie Aceto.

Alyssa Wardwell set up a goal by Hannah Sleight two minutes into the second half for Massabesic.

Hannah Lundrigan made six saves for the Mustangs; Emma Russell had 11 saves for the Red Riots.

SCARBOROUGH 6, WESTBROOK 0: Katherine Kirk and Morgan Rodway each scored twice as the visiting Red Storm (9-0-1) handled the Blue Blazes (3-8).

Ainsley Jamieson and Aly Atherton also scored.

Sam Russell made six saves for Westbrook.

GORHAM 7, NOBLE 1: Morgan Cushing had three goals and Emma Smith made seven saves for the visiting Rams (7-3) against the Knights at North Berwick.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 3, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 1: Julia Martell scored three goals, Maria Valente chipped in two assists and the Patriots (7-5) won at Old Orchard Beach (1-9).

Abby Dubois scored for the Seagulls.

Anna Knapp stopped eight shots for Gray-New Gloucester. Mackenzie Rague made seven saves for Old Orchard.

MEDOMAK VALLEY 0, GARDINER 0: Chelsea Ripley finished with six saves for Medomak Valley (2-8-2) in a tie at Gardiner (2-8-2).

Ally Day and Lauren Chadwick combined to make seven saves for Gardiner.

RICHMOND 4, GREENVILLE 1: Kelsea Anair and Autumn Acord scored in the first five minutes and the visiting Bobcats (11-1) beat Greenville (7-2-2) in a matchup of the top two teams in Western Class D Heal points.
