Amanda Arnold, Thornton Academy senior, jumps: Coming off a strong indoor season in which she placed fourth in the long jump (16-6) and third in the 55-meter hurdles (9.24). She finished fourth in the long jump at the Class A outdoor meet last season (16-3).

Charlotte Cutshall, Falmouth senior, jumps: Finished third in the long jump indoors at the Class A state meet (16-83/4) this year. She soared to 16-101/2 at the New England championships last year to finish seventh.

Tori Daigle, Thornton Academy junior, hurdles/jumps: Won the 55 hurdles (8.50) and long jump (18-01/4) at the Class A indoor meet. She set a Class A indoor state record in the long jump, breaking the 2010 mark of 17-61/2 set by Maria Curit of Biddeford.

Kate Hall, Lake Region junior, jumps/sprints: Won the 100 (12.15), 200 (25.49) and long jump (18-53/4) at the Class B outdoor state meet, setting state records in the 100 and long jump. Also won the 100 (11.69) and was second in the long jump (19-03/4) at the New England championships.

Kialeigh Marston, Bonny Eagle sophomore, distance: Second in the 1,600 (5:14.66) and fourth in the 800 (2:23.06) in the Class A state outdoor meet as a freshman.

Kiera Murray, Cheverus senior, distance: Took fourth in the 3,200 (11:45.46) last year at the Class A state outdoor meet.

Kaileigh Harrison, Thornton Academy senior, throws: The top returning shot putter in the state. Finished second in the shot put (35-11) and first in the discus (98-9) at the Class A state meet last year.

Aleta Looker, Ellsworth senior, middle distance: Won the mile (5:13.87) at the Class B indoor meet. Looker should dominate in the 800, where she was runner-up (2:20.42) at the Class B outdoor meet last year.

Kirstin Sandreuter, Greely senior, distance: Won the 2-mile (11:34.98) at the indoor Class B state meet.

Audrey Weyand, Bonny Eagle senior, sprints: Top returning 400 runner in Class A. Was second in the 400 (57.75) and third in the 200 (26.32) at the Class A outdoor meet last year.

Michael Cuesta, South Portland junior, jumps: One of the top returning triple jumpers in Class A. Finished seventh at the Class A outdoor meet last year (42-03/4) and won the event indoors this winter (45-4).

Jake Dixon, Cheverus junior, sprints: Won the 200 (23.08) and took second in the 400 (50.45) at the Class A indoor state meet.

Hugh McSorley, Scarborough senior, throws: Finished fourth in the shot put (46-51/2) behind three seniors at the Class A state meet last year.

Benjamin Michaud, South Portland senior, jumps: Second in the long jump (20-31/2) and third in the triple jump (41-81/2) at the Class A indoor meet.

James Ociti, Biddeford senior, sprints: Won the 400 (50.38) at the Class A indoor state meet. He’s also the top 400 runner outdoors, having placed second (49.17) in Class A last year.

Will Shafer, Gray-New Gloucester senior, distance: Won the mile (4:20.38) and 800 (2:02.78) at the Class B indoor state meet. He was second at the Class B outdoor meet last year (4:16.28) and fourth at the New England championships.

Jacob Terry, Scarborough junior, distance: Won the 2-mile (10:03.72) at the Class A state indoor meet.

Elijah Yeboah, Cheverus senior, hurdles: Top returning 300-meter hurdler in Class A. Finished second (40.20) at the Class A outdoor meet last year.

Isaac Yeboah, Cheverus senior, sprints/hurdles: Finished third in the 300 hurdles (40.27) at the Class A outdoor meet last year.

Austin Weigle, Kennebunk senior, jumps: Won the high jump (6-2) at the Class A indoor meet and tied for third (6-0) outdoors last year.
