LONDON - The International Olympic Committee is looking into the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency's case against Lance Armstrong to see if there is enough evidence to open an investigation that could result in stripping of Olympic medals.
IOC spokeswoman Emmanuelle Moreau told The Associated Press that the Olympic body is reviewing the USADA report "together will all related documentation."
Armstrong won a bronze medal in the time trial at the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
Moreau says it is "premature" to say whether the IOC is considering measures, but "should we come across any evidence that would justify opening a disciplinary procedure, we would of course act accordingly."
USADA issued a 200-page report Wednesday explaining its reasons for stripping Armstrong of his seven Tour de France titles, and accusing Armstrong of being at the center of a sophisticated doping scheme.
