Riding to the Top Therapeutic Riding Center has a limited number of charity registration numbers available for the soldout Beach to Beacon 10K on Aug. 3. The bibs will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information, contact Susan Cole at or 892-2813, ext. 21.

The Kittery Kenshin Kan Karate Dojo will host a seminar led by Grand Master Fusei Kise, a 10th-degree black belt and worldwide head of Okinawan Shorin Rya Matsumura Seito Karate, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 11 at the Kittery Community Center. The event will give students a chance to work with the grand master and others, including OSMKKF President Isao Kise, as well as to test for black belt ranks in karate and kobudo.
