Chamber tourism seminar

The Sebago Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce will be sponsoring a Marketing/Services Seminar for Tourism on Tuesday, March 22, from 10:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the Causeway Landing in Naples. Executives from the Maine Tourism Association will be present to discuss tourism industry issues, office of tourism updates, the 2005 summer forecast, best use of brochures and websites, the CD-Tabloid Marketing Program for Tourism, and ideas for tourism marketing programs to bring more visitors to the Region. The information shared at this session will help shape the future of the area’s tourism programs and successes. This event is a value-added benefit for Chamber members but is also open to the public for $20 per person. Lunch will be included. For seat reservations please contact the SLRCC at 892-8265.

Chamber support needs

The Sebago Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce is seeking volunteers to help support the many community service and civic programs that take place in the Chamber region. If you are a volunteer who works with groups in the non-profit programs we would be interested in having you join us to help with this year’s upcoming events. Interested individuals could include seniors, students, youth groups, retirees, scouts, and clubs. If you can help, contact the Chamber office at 892-8265.
