Again this year, AARP has provided sites in the Lakes Region where senior citizens can receive free tax help. All sites are open through April 15. Some of them require an appointment.

The locations are:

– Windham/Standish: Saint Joseph’s College, 278 White’s Bridge Road. For appointment, call Susan Hendrickson, 893-7917.

– Gorham: Baxter Memorial Library, 71 South Street, Gorham. Thursdays, 4-7 p.m. No appointment necessary. Call 839-5031.

– Westbrook: Walker Memorial Library, 800 Main St., Westbrook. Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. No appointment necessary. Call 854-0630 for more information.
