Fifth-grade students from the Canal School got a special treat last Friday as their DARE graduation was held at Jokers on Warren Avenue in Portland. After a short ceremony, the kids were given the chance to play some video games and laser tag. The DARE students all wrote an essay on the dangers of drugs and drug abuse. Pictured, from left to right, are essay winners Madison Harnois, Dakin Camp, Tim Vokey and Maryssa Arsenault pose with Officer Inger Cyr and Capt. Tom Roth of the Westbrook Police Department.
