Does anyone know how many bridges Windham has? Perhaps the public works director has the answer. One of the oldest bridges, one of several which connect Windham and neighboring Gorham, is the North Gorham bridge at one end of Windham Center Road. This photo shows one of those bridges, and the massive stones (probably cut not too far away) which supported this late 1800s version. We welcome more data about bridges in general, or this one in particular. (Photo from Windham Historical Society)
