Windham Historical Society will hold its monthly meeting on Monday, May 23 at 7 p.m. at the museum on Windham Center Road.
Kathy Corbett, Treas. North Gorham Cemetery Association, will present a program on how public cemeteries replaced the family/farm lots, beginning about 1850. Many remains were moved to graveyards at that time.
The public is invited to attend; refreshments will be served and there is no admission fee.
