The annual plant sale at Historic New England’s Marrett House will be held the weekend of June 4 and 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission to the sale is free. Marrett House is located on Route 25 in Standish.

This sale includes a variety of herbs and perennials, some of which are grown in the extensive perennial gardens which were laid out in the 1920s and 1930s by the Marrett sisters. The day also includes free tours of the 1789 house to see the layering of tastes that occurs when a family resides in a single home for three generations. This event is cosponsored with Wild Ridge Garden Club. Contact Marrett House at 642-3032 for more information.
