This old steel bridge once carried traffic over the Presumpscot River on Cumberland Street at the S. D. Warren Company. Church steeple in the background was the Warren Congregational Church, which was located on Cumberland Street at Warren Avenue. The building in the foreground was the Warren Parish House. The old church was demolished after the Westbrook and Warren congregations merged and built a new church at 810 Main St. The Parish House was sold and moved up Cumberland Street near the Windham line where it still stands as a private residence. A newer and wider bridge replaced this bridge years ago.
