Paul Lawrence, owner of Buxton-based homeowner referral service Home Project Partners, announced today that he will be presenting a general interest course through Bonny Eagle Adult Education titled Your Home Improvement Project-Start Now and Do It Right! on Monday, September 26 and Wednesday, November 9 at Bonny Eagle Middle School from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

If you are planning on remodeling your home or have projects around your home that require a professional contractor, you will not want to miss these informative sessions. Lawrence will explain to attendees how to properly plan their project, locate and screen contractors, the proper questions to ask contractor references, discuss written contracts, and teach homeowners how to monitor their home improvement projects.

“Choosing a contractor is the most important decision in any home project. It does take time and effort but if done properly it helps ensure that the project goes smoothly,” says Lawrence.

Home Project Partners can now be seen online at www.homeprojectpartners.com.

Home Project Partners is an organized network of reliable, skilled, pre-screened contractors in numerous trades. Since the company’s establishment in November of 2002, more than 70 contractors have come on board to handle most home projects. Network contractors are screened for licenses and insurance, references, and also checked with the Better Business Bureau/Office of Consumer Affairs. Home Project Partners’ clients are new homeowners, those who are new to the area and homeowners who don’t know to call for home project needs. The service is free to use by homeowners and small businesses. For more information call 207-929-6981 or contact Paul Lawrence at projekpartner@yahoo.com.
