What do you do if you own or manage a business in the Lakes Region area and need to obtain training for your employees? What about if you need some help yourself? What if you want to become a small business owner, but don’t know how to get started? In any of these situations, you could contact Windham Adult Education.
Windham Adult Education offers all types of learning opportunities for adults living and working in Windham and surrounding communities. Programs are available to help with employment such as computer training, workplace communications, and accounting. For business owners and managers, there are workshops in marketing, e-commerce, and public relations currently scheduled, and customized training programs are available as well. Windham Adult Education also offers an entrepreneur training program for folks thinking about starting their own business, but needing help with the first steps.
All courses are provided free or at reasonable rates. Training is offered at convenient times and locations. A complete listing of all of the courses scheduled for the fall term has recently been mailed to all residences in Windham and Raymond. There is also course information available on the web site, www.windham.k12.me.us Registrations are currently being accepted with classes beginning throughout the fall.
