Coach’s Comment “We knew our regular season record would not be impressive, but with Miles, Kevin and a couple of relays we were able to score well at the league and state meets. Placing thirrd at states for the second consecutive year was above our expectations and a great end to the season.

Magic Number 8:14.35 Kevin Floster and Miles Bartlett are two of the best distance runners in the state, but they needed two other quality teammates, Keegan Eldridge and Jake Moore, to break the school record in the 4 x 800 relay. “That’s what makes this number so special to me,” says coach Mark Snow. “It’s an outstanding school record.”

Seniors Sarah Hale

Awards 4x100m relay won the state title; Renee Nicholas won two events (long jump and triple jump) at the league meet; Sarah Hale won the 100m at the league meet.

Coach’s Comment “We had a great league championship meet, netting fourth place. Our young throwers placed well and our jumpers and sprinters placed in a few events. Almost every athlete had their best performance at that meet. We couldn’t have asked or expected a better meet.

Magic Number 51.16 (school and conference record) for the 4x100m. After getting third at last year’s state meet, our girls focused on the relay this year. They worked on handoffs almost daily. Their worked paid off with a state title and at the conference meet ran this great time.

Coach’s Comment “The boys have never won a match. We came close in this year’s first match, losing 3-2 to Wells. We have some young players who are really good athletes, and we will win a match next year. And just like I said this year, when we win a match next year I will show up the next day in a skirt.”
