New England College Downs Southern Maine 3-0
GORHAM- Southern Maine freshman goalkeeper Allie Hill (Cape Elizabeth) played solidly in net making 15 saves, and junior defender Anna Dupuis (Saco/Thornton Academy) thwarted a New England College goal in the second half making her first defensive save of the season, but the New England College Pilgrims pulled off a 3-0 win over the University of Southern Maine Huskies in a non-conference field hockey game Tuesday afternoon at Paula D. Hodgdon field on the Gorham campus.
With its fifth straight victory New England College remains undefeated at 5-0. The loss is the fourth straight for the Huskies who are still looking for their first win of the season at 0-4.
