Southern Maine Community College invites the public to celebrate the college’s 60th anniversary on Saturday, Oct 14., starting with a community fun run at 8:30 a.m. and winding up with the Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony reception and banquet at 6:30 p.m.
The day-long event will include tours of the campus and harbor, the Darcy Wakefield Fun Run/Walk, a pancake breakfast, ground-breaking ceremony for the new residence hall, Seawolf soccer games and am alumni reception.
The campus is located on Fort Road in South Portland. The Web site www.smccME.edu has a full schedule of the day’s events.
