The Scarborough Garden Club has awarded a $1,000 scholarship to a Scarborough student enrolled in college majoring in a horticulture program.
Kenneth Watson, a June graduate of Scarborough High School, is a freshman at Abraham Baldwin Agriculture College, a division of the University of Georgia, Tifton, Ga. He is majoring in Landscape Design and Grounds Management.
Watson was awarded this scholarship after successfully completing his first semester at the college.
