The Scarborough Athletic Council presented $700 scholarships to 15 Scarborough High seniors at the group’s annual awards banquet at Verrillo’s Convention Center back on April 29. The student/athletes received these scholarships based on a submitted essay, sports participation and coaches letters of recommendation.
The Athletic Council works throughout the year raising funds for these scholarships that are awarded to graduating student/athletes. This year’s recipients are Melissa Anson, Anne Bolton, Nathan Boroyan, Janessa Carlson, Allison Chamberlain, Hillary Curtis, Michael Dakers, Paul Dufresne, Kelsey Griffin, Alexandra Hoy, Brent Mayo, Meaghan Myers, Nicholas Norton, Jonathan Russell and Kaitlyn Saldanha.
