Graduate

Leigh-Anne Michelle Dalton of Windham graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a bachelor’s of science degree in psychology. Leigh-Anne graduated from Windham High School in the class of 2000.

Farmers Market

The Lakes Region Farmers’ Market is open in the Manchester School parking lot on Route 302 in North Windham every Saturday. The hours are 8 a.m. to noon. The market will be open rain or shine through Oct. 13.

Meeting

The Segustagoe #49 Degree of Pocahontas met in Cumberland July 16. There were many members from Windham who attended.

Broken Hip

John Rogers suffered a spontaneous hip fracture June 23. He was standing doing laundry when his hip broke, causing him to fall. He was admitted to Maine Medical Center and had surgery on June 24. Unfortunately, he spent his 82nd birthday, which was July 1, in the hospital. He is currently undergoing rehabilitation at the Barron Center and is looking forward to going home.

Bridal Shower

Susam Millett was guest of honor at a bridal shower, given by her sister, Chrissy Millett at the home of Thomas and Linda Millett. She received many nice gifts. A buffett luncheon was served and also a beautiful shower cake, made by her aunt, Nancy Fish. The guests included: Stacey Millett and Darlene Viel of Auburn; Jennifer Millett, Massachusetts; Amanda Millett, New Hampshire; Amy Fish, Portland; Rosemary Winant, Raymond; Cindy Hotham, New Gloucester; Becky and Sophia Allen, Lynn Caruso, Lucy Millett, Vickie Morin, Linda Millett, Nancy Fish, Barbara Millett, Carole Millett and Meredith Millett, all of Windham. Susan will be married to James Parvis Aug. 11 in Lake George, N.Y. They will make their home in Slingerland, N.Y.

Annual Gathering

On the evening of July 28, the Windham High School class of 1964 will hold its annual get-together at the home of Gary Plummer. Other classes that graduated from Windham in the early or later 1960s are also invited to attend. For details, call Gary at 892-6088.

Michaelene Curran-Dalton of Windham and Keith R. Thompson of North Yarmouth are excited to announce their engagement and upcoming wedding. Keith and Michaelene are planning an early 2008 wedding.
