Sea Dogs-Lester
Boston Red Sox starter Jon Lester, on temporary assignment to the Portland Sea Dogs thrilled a sold out Hadlock Field Monday night. Lester pitched six innings, giving up five hits and one run in the Sea Dogs 5-2 victory against the Trenton Thunder. Lester’s next start is expected to be Sept. 2 for the Red Sox against the Orioles in Baltimore.
