Two people were transported to the hospital with minor injuries Monday afternoon after a collision in Westbrook involving a car and a Maine Department of Transportation pickup truck. Sgt. Mike Sanphy of the Westbrook Police Department said Meaghan Junkins, 19, of Gorham, driving a 1999 Saab, was turning right on Spring Street off Route 25 when she collided with the 2005 GMC truck traveling north on Spring Street, at around 2 p.m. The driver of the truck was William McNulty, 45, of Fryeburg, whose was Deborah West. Capt. Gerry Provencher of the Westbrook Fire Department said that both drivers suffered minor injuries. Police are investigated the cause of the accident.
