The Naples bridge is an historical and therefore important water passageway. It should be preserved for future generations and the Maine Department of Transportation should find somewhere else to spend the state’s money and time.

The Lakes Region of Maine offers much to tourism and the state needs to foster this as there are very few options left in the state to attract visitors and therefore capital investment and much needed tax dollars. Leave attractions alone. Improve the intrastate connections instead.
