A Limington man is out on bail this week after being arrested for assaulting two girls, according to Capt. Don Goulet of the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.

Jeremy Buckley, 29, of Daniel Drive was arrested March 28 on one count of gross sexual assault and seven counts of sexual abuse of a minor. Goulet said the abuse took place in Standish.

According to Goulet, Buckley belonged to the same church as the girls, who were between the ages of 13 and 15. Goulet declined to name the church, how the Buckley knew the alleged victims or the circumstances of the assaults.

Buckley was arraigned in Cumberland County Superior Court March 31 and made bail the next day. Goulet said his bail was $1,500 cash and he is not allowed to have contact with the victims or anyone under 18.
