Team Kiwanis represented Scarborough Little League recently at the annual Hannaford/Sea Dogs Little League clinic.

Hannaford and the Sea Dogs treated eight teams from throughout Maine to the baseball clinic, a barbecue, gift packs and tickets to a Sea Dogs game. Representing Scarborough Little League’s Kiwanis were Cameron Thayer, Joe Casale, Kenny Adams, Nick Suchecki, Candler Langlois, Stephen Marchewka, Travis Crockett and Andrew Hopkins.

Pictured with the boys are Sea Dogs pitchers Chad Rhoades (left) and Justin Masterson (right). The day after the clinic, Masterson was called up to the Boston Red Sox to pitch his first big-league game at Fenway Park.
