Police met with a Mitchell Road resident regarding a harassment complaint about snow being plowed into the driveway. Police contacted the person plowing the snow and advised cessation of the behavior.

March 3

Dog days

Police met with an Old Ocean House Road resident who complained about a dog at large. Police identified and notified the dog’s owner.

Hang it up

Police spoke with a Shore Road resident regarding a harassing phone call. The resident knows the caller and no action has been taken.

Crack this

Police responded to Sawyer Road and met with a South Portland resident who said a juvenile had thrown an item at a vehicle and cracked the windshield. Police contacted the juvenile and drove him home. Restitution will be made to the vehicle’s owner.

March 4

Do not pass

A Cape Elizabeth school bus driver provided police with the license-plate number of a vehicle that passed the bus while a student was being discharged. Police contacted the vehicle driver. The case will be forwarded to the Cumberland County District Attorney’s Office for review.

March 5

Shades pulled

Police met with a Bowery Beach Road resident regarding a motor vehicle burglary complaint. Missing from the vehicle were two pairs of sunglasses and a pair of reading glasses.
