Scott Berube of Scarborough won his class in the Skier’s Edge Masters National Championships, held at Sunday River on March 25-29. There were 130 competitors from all parts of the country as well as a handful from Canada who participated in the annual event, hosted by a ski mountain in the east once every four years.

Scott won the Class 4 (ages 40-44) with a silver medal in Super Giant Slalom, gold in Giant Slalom, and gold in Slalom to secure a position on the national team. He has been involved with ski racing for many years, including being a member of national teams while at Plymouth State University (N.H).
