Vote for Steve Demetriou

Windham voters will have an opportunity on Nov. 3 to continue the town’s tradition of electing highly qualified people to its Town Council by voting for Steve Demetriou.

Steve, a third-generation resident of Hall’s Point, Little Sebago Lake, has a degree in chemistry from the University of Southern Maine and is a professional photographer. He is the current president of the Many Oaks Lane Road Association, an extension of the Smith Road from Route 115 to Little Sebago.

Steve’s father, James Demetriou, was managing partner of Turner Barker Real Estate in Portland, and one of the group of local businessmen who purchased the Chapman Building (better known as the Time and Temperature Building) from Casco Bank in 1967.

As a former member of the Portland City Council, I understand the qualities required to be an effective member of a community council. Steve is, by nature, fiscally responsible and patient in the line of fire. His election to the council will help maintain Windham’s unique character.
