WGME is reporting that King Middle School will close early today due to President Barack Obama’s visit to the Portland Expo nearby.

A message posted on the school’s web site said that Porland police have informed the school that roads around King will be closed due to security reasons. Parents were being asked to make plans for their students to leave school by 12:30, according to the station.
