The fifth annual Maine Photography Show opens on Saturday and continues through May 8 at the Boothbay Region Art Foundation, 1 Townsend Ave., Boothbay Harbor. The show will be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday to Sunday. John Paul Caponigro, an acclaimed digital photographer from Cushing, served as juror.
The exhibition includes 101 photographs, which Caponigro selected from 756 entries submitted by 294 Maine photographers. The show is divided into four categories: color; black and white; student; and a new category this year, water. For the latter, photographs that feature water as a theme were eligible.
