OLD ORCHARD BEACH – Ryan Gallant, Nick Harriman and Tyler Stack combined on a three-hitter Saturday to lead Old Orchard Beach to a 9-2 victory against Buckfield in a schoolboy baseball game.

Harriman struck out four, including the side in the fifth. Stack got the last out of the game on a strikeout for the Seagulls (2-1) against the Bucks (0-2).

Connor Rague went 3 for 4 and scored twice, and Evan Buj-nowski went 2 for 3 with three runs for Old Orchard.

THORNTON ACADEMY 10, WINDHAM 7: Alex Newton drove in Sam Canales with a single in the sixth inning for the go-ahead run as the Golden Trojans (3-1) beat the Eagles (2-2) at Saco.

Newton went 3 for 4 with two runs scored and three batted in.

Jeff Gelinas of Thornton pitched the final two innings, allowing one earned run on three hits and striking out two to earn the win.

DEERING 8, BIDDEFORD 1: Jake Nichols hit a two-run triple to lead the Rams (3-1) over the Tigers (1-3) at Portland.

Devin Fitzgerald and John Hardy each added a two-run single for Deering.

SOUTH PORTLAND 3, SANFORD 1: Ryan Curit cracked a two-run double to break a 1-1 tie in the fifth inning and the Red Riots (2-1) downed the Redskins (1-2) at Sanford.

Robbie Dudzisz walked and scored on a groundout in the first for Sanford. Jon DiBiase doubled home Curit in the fourth to tie it.

SOFTBALL

YARMOUTH 9, FREEPORT 2: Julie Dursema was 3 for 4 with two doubles and five RBI to lead the Clippers (2-2) over the Falcons (0-4) at Freeport.

McKenzie Gray pitched six scoreless innings for the Clippers, allowing three hits and a walk and striking out four. Lauren Wrobleski was 3 for 3 with three runs.

Jessica Kane was 3 for 4 with two RBI for the Falcons.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 14, TRAIP ACADEMY 1: Charlotte Lewis scattered four hits over five innings with no earned runs as the Raiders (5-0) downed the Rangers (0-5) in a five-inning game at Fryeburg.

Lewis also went 2 for 3 with two RBI.

Fryeburg scored 10 runs in the second, when Michelle Rosco hit a bases-loaded triple and Kelsey Sheehan added a two-run double. Carla Tripp was 3 for 4 with three runs.

BIDDEFORD 5, NOBLE 2: Kristina McCurry went 3 for 3, leading the Tigers (4-0) past the Knights (0-4) at Biddeford.

Katelyn Lebreux hit a three-run double in the sixth inning to make it 5-0.

Sarah Gilblair of Biddeford struck out six.

BOYS’ LACROSSE

BONNY EAGLE 8, THORNTON ACADEMY 3: C.J. Blanchard had three goals and two assists to lead Bonny Eagle (3-2) over Thornton Academy (1-4) at Standish.

The Scots scored three straight goals to start the second half, opening a 7-1 lead.

WINDHAM 12, NOBLE 6: John Skvorak had five goals and two assists to lead the Eagles (2-2) over the Knights (0-4) at North Berwick.

Up by two at the half, Windham scored six straight goals in the third quarter.

CHEVERUS 7, MARSHWOOD 4: Evan Jendrasko had four goals and two assists to lead the Stags (1-1) past the Hawks (0-3) at Portland.

Stefano Caiazzo added a pair of goals for Cheverus.

PORTLAND 16, MASSABESIC 4: Jason Knight had seven goals and two assists to lead the Bulldogs (4-0) over the Mustangs (2-3) at Portland.

Knight scored four times during a seven-goal surge that gave Portland a 9-1 halftime lead.

FALMOUTH 24, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 3: Emma Sipperly and Laura Fay scored five goals each to lead the Yachtsmen (3-0) past the Raiders (0-4) at Fryeburg.

Aslyn Dindorf scored twice for Fryeburg, which held an early two-goal lead.

SANFORD 11, EDWARD LITTLE 2: Kim Vogel had 12 saves for the Redskins (2-1) against the Red Eddies (0-3) at Sanford.

Brooke Peterson, Miranda Levesque and Krystal Walsh each scored twice, and Walsh added two assists.

FRIDAY’S SOFTBALL

WINDHAM 7, PORTLAND 3: Sara Richards struck out five and hit a three-run homer as the Eagles (1-3) beat the Bulldogs (0-4) at Portland.
