SOUTH PORTLAND – Nova Seafood scored four runs in the seventh inning Tuesday to pull away to a 7-3 victory against Morrill Post in an American Legion baseball game.

Nick Colucci had three hits and Jamie Ross hit two doubles, one driving in a run in the seventh for Nova Seafood (9-0) against Morrill (5-4).

Travis Wade, Sam Balzano and Matt Bevilacqua also had two hits each for Nova Seafood.

 

ANDREWS POST 8, MOODY’S 7: Kyle Reichert capped a three-run rally in the bottom of the seventh inning as Andrews Post (1-10) rallied past Moody’s (1-10) at Portland.

Joe Violette hit an RBI single in the seventh, and Caleb Fraser finished with two singles and an RBI for Andrews.

Zack Speirs hit a single, a double and a triple, and scored twice for Moody’s.

 

KENNEBUNK 10, BONANZA 0: Quinn Burpee, Mike Kinney and Jason Small hit two-run singles as Kennebunk (5-5) downed Bonanza of Sanford (4-7) in five innings at home.

Pat Fulford pitched a two-hitter with four strikeouts, and added two singles and an RBI for Kennebunk.

 

FAYETTE-STAPLES 9, MASSABESIC 5: Matt Turnage hit an RBI single and Alex Newton added a two-run triple during a five-run fifth inning as Fayette-Staples (8-3) rallied past Massabesic (5-6) at Saco.

Turnage also hit a solo homer.

Sam Canales added two singles and two RBI, and scored twice for Fayette-Staples.

Casey Nava and Mark Guay each hit two singles with an RBI for Massabesic.

 

LIBBY-MITCHELL 6, FALMOUTH 2: Lincoln Sanborn pitched a two-hitter with four strikeouts to lead Libby-Mitchell (8-3) over Falmouth (5-4) at Standish.

Ben Wessel hit a two-run double and Ian Ramsdell added an RBI single in a four-run fourth inning.

Sanborn and Ramsdell each had two hits. Matty MacDowell singled home a run in the sixth for Falmouth.

 

STAPLES CROSSING 7, BIDDEFORD 6: Jack Verrill’s third hit came in the sixth inning and scored Jake Chamblee with the winning run for Staples Crossing at South Berwick.

Chamblee also had three hits, Sam Woodbury had two hits and two RBI, and Ian McAllister added two hits for Staples.

JUNIOR LEGION

WINDHAM 3, SOUTH PORTLAND 0: Riley Williamson pitched a four-hitter with six strikeouts as Windham (7-1) shut out visiting South Portland (3-7).

Williamson, who struck out six and walked two, pitched out of a bases-loaded jam in the first and a first-and-third situation in the second.

 

OA-YARMOUTH 3, KENNEBUNK 2: Mike Smith squeezed in John O’Gorman in the seventh inning as OA-Yarmouth (7-4) beat visting Kennebunk (6-2).

Chester Jacobs pitched a six-hitter with two strikeouts and one walk.

 

BRISTOL 8, CAPE ELIZABETH 7: Tom Dean hit a two-run single and Anthony Balzano homered in a three-run fifth inning as Bristol (8-2) held off Cape Elizabeth (6-3) at Portland.

T.J. Gray hit a bases-loaded triple in the first and Dominic Arris added a two-run single in the third for Bristol.

 

FIRST TITLE 11, LEBANON 5: Ryan Casale had four hits, drove in four runs and scored four times to lead First Title (3-6) over Lebanon (1-8) at Portland.

Casale hit a two-run triple, two-run single and two doubles.
