Arrests

7/17 at 10:10 p.m. Daniel Chute, 20, of Raymond, was arrested on Gray Road by Officer Steve Hamilton on a warrant for another agency.

7/18 at 11:45 p.m. Zackery Roy, 20, of Portland, was arrested on Middle Road by Officer Steve Townsend on a warrant for another agency.

7/19 at 2:13 a.m. Daniel Bragdon, 21, of Wells, was arrested on Mountain Road by Officer Kurt Fegan on a charge of operating under the influence.

7/20 at 2 p.m. Gary Sunderlin, 49, no address reported, was arrested on Middle Road by Officer Dan Austin on a charge of being a fugitive from justice.

Summonses

7/11 at 6:05 p.m. Christopher Moody, 19, of Foreside Road, was summonsed on Blackstrap Road by Officer Steven Townsend on a charge of sale and use of drug paraphernalia.

7/17 at 10:21 p.m. Linda Dyer, 43, of Mountain Road, was summonsed on Falmouth Road by Officer Dean Mazziotti on a charge of operating with a suspended registration.

7/22 at 4:55 a.m. Daniel Seavey, 23, of Portland, was summonsed on Longwoods Road by Officer Phillip Hatch on a charge of assault.

Beaver gets hosed

7/16 at 12:14 p.m. Officers responded to a homeowner complaint of an animal trapped under their granite steps on Birkdale Road. Officer Steven Stubbs discovered the trapped animal was a beaver, which he was able to flush out with the homeowner’s garden hose.

Hide and seek

7/18 at 11:36 p.m. Officers reportedly noticed a man ducking and hiding in the bushes along Middle Road. When the officers pulled over to check on the man, he was reportedly lying flat on the ground, dressed head to toe in black. Upon running his name in the computer, officers discovered Zackery Roy, 20, of Portland, had an outstanding warrant and arrested him.

Thumbing a ride to extradition

7/20 at 2 p.m. A pedestrian reportedly flagged down officer and asked for ride into Portland. The officer ran the man’s name in the computer and allegedly found that Gary Sunderlin, 49, had warrant with full extradition for assaulting a police officer in Florida. Sunderlin was transported to Cumberland County Jail to await extradition.
