SACO — A Falmouth woman was killed early today after the car she was riding in rolled over on an exit ramp of the Maine Turnpike in Saco.
State police trooper Lee Vanadestine identified the victim as Leisha Tarbox, 27. The driver, Scott Daniels, 28, of Hollis, was arrested on a charge of drunken driving. He suffered minor injuries.
Vanadestine said Daniels was travelling northbound on the Maine Turnpike, but was going too fast when his 1991 VW Jetta tried to enter the ramp. Tarbox was ejected from the car.
Daniels is being held tonight at the York County Jail on $10,000 bail.
The accident was reported at 1:50 a.m. today.
