YARMOUTH — A 64-yard run by freshman quarterback Brady Neujahr with 4:06 left in the game today gave Yarmouth a 14-12 victory over Lisbon in the Western Class C football championship.

Neujahr’s TD was the only score of the second half.

Yarmouth (11-0) plays Steans in next Saturday’s state championship game at Fitzpatrick Stadium.

Lisbon (9-2) took a 12-0 lead in the first half on a 1-yard run by Tobey Harrington and an 87-yard TD pass from Ryan Riordan to Josh Pomerleau.

Yarmouth scored with 2:36 left in the half after recoving a fumble inside Lisbon’s 10. Two plays later, Neujhar threw a 6-yard TD pass to Nick Proscia, who kicked both PATs.
