WESTBROOK – Fans of Westbrook basketball will get the chance to see the boys and girls teams in action at the annual “East/West Challenge” held at the high school gym on Dec. 6 and 7.

On Dec. 6, the girls will host Deering, Messalonskee, South Portland, Oxford Hills, Edward Little, Lewiston and Biddeford high schools. Four games will be played with Deering taking on Messalonskee at 4 p.m., Oxford Hills facing off against South Portland at 5:30 p.m., Edward Little playing Biddeford at 7 p.m. and Westbrook hosting Lewiston at 8:30 p.m.

On Dec. 7, it will be the boys turn to take the floor as the Blazes will host Hampden, Portland, Camden Hills, Bangor, South Portland, Brunswick and Cheverus high schools.

Once again four games will be played, with Hampden facing Portland at 4 p.m., Camden Hills taking on Cheverus at 5:30 p.m., Bangor squaring off against South Portland at 7 p.m. and Westbrook hosting Brunswick at 8:30 p.m.

Tickets for both events will be available at the gym on the day of the games.
