While the Portland International Jetport is busy with travelers still trying to reach their destinations after Monday’s storm, Marketing Manager Greg Hughes said things are getting back to normal.

According to the arrival and departures board on the jetport’s website, only a handful of flights are delayed and one flight into Portland from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport for 1:43 p.m. was canceled.

Airports in the New York area, which are destinations of most round-trip flights from Portland, are still working to clear snow off their runways, Hughes said. After talking to JetBlue airlines this morning, Hughes said flights from John F. Kennedy International Airport and LaGuardia Airport are still running.

“They are stretched brutally thin because they are trying to get people moving the snow away,” he said. “But flights are still operating.”
