BOOTHBAY HARBOR – Dan Dickinson scored 25 points Wednesday as Boothbay Region sent Telstar to its first Western Class C schoolboy basketball loss of the season, 69-56.

Telstar (5-1) took a 17-12 lead in the first quarter, but the Seahawks (3-2) scored 22 in the second for a 36-31 lead at the half.

Jake Simmons added 12 points for Boothbay. Dan Vaughn led the Rebels with 19.

VINALHAVEN 46, VALLEY 35: Steven Osgood scored a game-high 24 points to lead the Vikings (4-1) over Valley (0-6) at Vinalhaven.

CAMDEN HILLS 92, OAK HILL 41: Tyler McFarland scored his 1,000th career point as the Windjammers (6-0) downed Oak Hill (1-5) at Wales.

McFarland went into the game with 998 points and finished with 27. Andrew Flanagan added 13 points and Caleb McFarland had 12 for Camden Hills.

MOUNTAIN VALLEY 71, GEORGES VALLEY 30: Cameron Kaubris scored 18 points as Mountain Valley (6-0) downed Georges Valley (1-5) at Rumford.

LINCOLN ACADEMY 60, MT. VIEW 54: Steven Quinlan scored 23 points to lead the Eagles (3-3) over the Mustangs (1-5) at Newcastle.

MEDOMAK VALLEY 72, BELFAST 25: Isaac Greenrose scored 16 points for the Panthers (3-3), who built a 35-5 halftime lead against the Lions (1-5) at Waldoboro.

BOOTHBAY REGION 41, TELSTAR 25: Sarah Caron scored 14 points to lead the Seahawks (2-4) over Telstar (0-6) at Boothbay Harbor.

VALLEY 38, VINALHAVEN 28: Cindy Schultz had 21 points as the Cavaliers (4-1) beat the Vikings (3-1) at Vinalhaven.

MT. VIEW 36, LINCOLN ACADEMY 25: Channing Murphy scored 14 points to lead the Mustangs (3-3) over the Eagles (2-4) at Thorndike.
