BATH — Nikoline Ostergaard scored 12 of her game-high 21 points in the third quarter Thursday as Morse pulled away to a 66-31 victory against Mt. Blue in an Eastern Class A schoolgirl basketball game

Tarra Burr added 13 points for Morse (7-0), which outscored Mt. Blue 23-4 in the third quarter to extend a 32-19 halftime lead to 55-23.

Miranda Nicely paced Mt. Blue (1-5) with 13 points.

BANGOR 34, MT. ARARAT 30: Hillary Throckmorton scored nine points for the Rams (4-2), who rallied from a five-point first-quarter deficit to edge the Eagles (2-4) at Topsham.

Mariah Cropley scored nine points to lead Mt. Ararat, which got as close as two points late in the game.

BRUNSWICK 63, LAWRENCE 25: Becky Champagne and Dakota Foster had 13 points each as the Dragons (3-3) beat the Bulldogs (0-6) at Fairfield.

Lydia Chaput added 11 points for Brunswick.

Danielle Armour had nine points for Lawrence.

MT. ABRAM 48, WISCASSET 37: Miranda Smith scored nine of her 13 points in the fourth quarter as the Roadrunners (2-4) used a 16-9 run to beat the Redskins (0-5) at Wiscasset.

Mikayla Luce added 14 points for Mt. Abram.

Alli Johnson and Kayla Connors both had 14 points for Wiscasset.

WISCASSET 61, MT. ABRAM 26: Ashton Benn, Tyler Sonia and Devin Grover each scored seven first-quarter points as Wiscasset (5-0) took a 25-8 lead against visiting Mt. Abram (0-6).

Benn finished with 11 points. Sonia had 10.

BRUNSWICK 52, LAWRENCE 49: Garrett Erb hit five 3-pointers as Brunswick (3-3) downed the Bulldogs (4-3) at Fairfield.

Mitchell Black added 10 points for Brunswick, which led 21-10 after the first quarter.

Spencer Carey and Xaviere Scott both scored 17 points for Lawrence.

MT. BLUE 70, MORSE 21: Cam Sennick scored 14 points to pace the Cougars (5-1), who opened with a 28-2 run and cruised past the Shipbuilders (0-7) at Bath.

Matt Munster led Morse with six points.

MOUNTAIN VALLEY 58, GEORGES VALLEY 38: Makayla White scored 15 points, including 11 in the second half as the Falcons (4-2) pulled away from the Buccaneers (2-4) at Rumford.

Ayla Allen added 13 points, nine rebounds and four steals, Chrissy Briggs had 11 points, and McKenzie Paterson finished with 10 points, three assists and five steals.

Kennadi Grover had 17 points for Georges Valley.

GIRLS’ HOCKEY

ST. DOMINIC 7, CHEVERUS 2: Marisa Zamrock had four goals and an assist as the Saints (8-1) downed the Stags (6-2) at Portland.

Lauren Ratsep added two goals for St. Dom’s.

Julia Lambert and Deirdre Lambert each had a goal and an assist for Cheverus.
