AUGUSTA — Supporters of the health care overhaul enacted by Congress last year say more than 2,500 postcards will be delivered to Gov. Paul LePage opposing the state joining a lawsuit challenging the law.

Members of the Maine People’s Alliance say the postcards containing personal messages are to be delivered to the governor this morning. They include hundreds written by small business owners and health care professionals.

Meanwhile, the conservative Maine Heritage Policy Center released a report Tuesday explaining the legal arguments against the federal health care law, which the center considers unconstitutional.
