Portland author Caitlin Shetterly will discuss her memoir “Made for You and Me: Going West, Going Broke, Finding Home” (Hyperion) Wednesday as part of the Portland Public Library’s Brown Bag Lecture series. Shetterly’s book is about how she and her husband moved to California in 2008 as newlyweds to seek economic opportunities, only to be forced by various circumstances — including the birth of a son — to move back to Maine to try to make ends meet.
