SACO — A Saco man faces a robbery charge after a resident came home to a burglary taking place.
The homeowner in the Hill and Maple streets area came home to find a running truck in his driveway Friday afternoon, according to police. The homeowner found 28-year-old Chad Thebarge inside before chasing him unsuccessfully, police said.
Police found Thebarge on the next street over. Thebarge’s appearance matched the suspect’s description, which included being shoeless. Police said the homeowner had chased him out of his shoes.
Thebarge was charged with one count of robbery. He is scheduled to appear in York County Superior Court on May 5.
