SOUTH PORTLAND – Erin Bogdanovich pitched a one-hitter with 10 strikeouts and three walks Wednesday to lead South Portland to a 4-0 victory against Massabesic in a Southern Maine Activities Association softball game.

Kaitlin Norton hit a single and a double, and drove in two runs for the Red Riots (9-0) against the Mustangs (2-6).

 

BONNY EAGLE 3, MARSHWOOD 2: Julia Boucher singled in Brittney Murray to cap a two-run seventh inning as the Scots (3-5) rallied past the Hawks (3-6) at Standish.

Allie Pike scored on a fielder’s choice earlier in the inning.

Sammy Crossman had three hits and an RBI for Marshwood.

FRYBURG ACADEMY 7, LAKE REGION 6: Maddie Pearson hit a two-run double, then scored on a single by Maggie McConkey as the Raiders (10-0) used a three-run seventh inning to beat the Lakers (3-5) at Fryeburg.

McConkey finished 3 for 4 with a run and two RBI, and Carla Tripp was 3 for 3 with three runs and three steals for Fryeburg.

 

KENNEBUNK 13, WESTBROOK 3: Janelle Bouchard hit two homers and drove in four runs to lead the Rams (5-2) past the Blue Blazes (3-6) at Kennebunk.

Carinn Burns struck out nine and walked one in a four-hitter for Kennebunk.

TRAIP ACADEMY 12, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 10: Katherine Volpe had two hits with three RBI as the Rangers (1-7) defeated the Panthers (0-7) at Yarmouth.

Mallory Ianno had two hits with four RBI for NYA.

 

GORHAM 10, CHEVERUS 3: Alyssa Clark went 3 for 4 with a grand slam to lead the Rams (4-4) over the Stags (1-7) at Portland.

Erin Cianchette hit a home run for Cheverus.

MEDOMAK VALLEY 3, NOKOMIS 0: Desiree Benner struck out 12 in a three-hitter as Medomak Valley (8-0) beat the Warriors (5-3) at Waldoboro.

Ericka Christensen had an RBI double and Jenna Tracy a two-run single as Medomak scored its runs in the fourth inning.

 

SACOPEE VALLEY 8, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 2: Liz Moulton struck out seven and had two hits to lead Sacopee Valley (7-1) over the Seagulls (5-3) at Old Orchard Beach.

Gillian Foss had three doubles for Old Orchard.

THORNTON ACADEMY 16, PORTLAND 0: Kristen Duross had three hits and drove in a run to lead the Trojans (7-1) past the Bulldogs (0-8) in five innings at Portland.

Julia Geamont and Morgan Dube combined to allow one hit for Thornton.

 

SANFORD 9, WINDHAM 1: Christine Tovey hit a triple and a single, and drove in three runs fore the Redskins (5-3), who used a six-run fifth inning to pull away from the Eagles (1-7) at Sanford.

Faith Crosby struck out eight and didn’t allow a walk in a four-hitter for Sanford.

FALMOUTH 18, YORK 0: Kelsey Freedman pitched a no-hitter and drove in two runs to lead the Yachtsmen (6-2) over the Wildcats (1-8) in five innings at York.

Stephanie Gramse also drove in two runs, and Sarah Collmus and Maddie Inlow each had three hits. Ali Carver and Molly Nevins had two hits apiece.

 

YARMOUTH 11, CAPE ELIZABETH 2: Alexa Sullivan had three hits and three RBI to lead the Clippers (8-1) over the Capers (5-3) at Cape Elizabeth.

McKenzie Gray pitched a three-hitter with three strikeouts, Julie Dursema and Monica Austin (two RBI) also had three hits, and Suzanne Driscoll and Abby Hutchinson added two hits.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 2, GREELY 1: Alicia Valente scored from second in the eighth inning as Rachel Edson’s bobbled grounder trickled into right field, lifting the Patriots (4-5) over Greely (5-4) at Gray.

Valente had singled and went to second on Alex Thompson’s sacrifice.

 

MCAULEY 4, NOBLE 3: Shelby Bryant drove in the winning run with a triple in the sixth inning, and finished with three hits and two runs as the Lions (7-0) edged the Knights (4-5) at Portland.

Amylie Anderson doubled and scored for Noble in the seventh to cut the deficit to 4-3.

WINDHAM 12, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 4: Samantha Gifford had five goals and Bebe Butts added three as the Eagles (5-2) handled the Raiders (0-6) at Fryeburg.

Brenna Gerchman had three goals for Fryeburg.

 

MOUNTAIN VALLEY 16, LINCOLN ACADEMY 10: Ayla Allen scored 11 goals to lead the Falcons (3-4) over the Eagles (1-6) at Newcastle.

MCAULEY 18, NOBLE 3: Tori Tenenbaum had five goals, and Sam Paglia and Clare McLaughin chipped in three apiece as the Lions (4-3) handled the Knights (0-7) at North Berwick.

Mary Leisure finished with two goals and two assists for the Lions.

 

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 17, YORK 4: Meg Fortier had four goals and three assists as the Panthers (3-4) beat the Wildcats (1-4) at Yarmouth.

Olivia Madore, Katherine Millett and Molly Strabley each added three goals for NYA.

WAYNFLETE 22, GREELY 11: Liz Chap finished with six goals to lead the Flyers (5-1) past the Rangers (3-3) at Portland. Paige Tuller led Greely with three goals.

 

YARMOUTH 17, FREEPORT 7: Danielle Torres collected six goals and two assists, and Becca Bell and Lindsey Purpura added two goals apiece as the Clippers (5-1) downed the Falcons (3-3) at Yarmouth.

Meredith Broderick scored twice for Freeport.

 

FALMOUTH 11, CAPE ELIZABETH 9: Alex Bernier scored four goals for the Yachtsmen (5-1), who rallied from a 7-5 halftime deficit against Cape Elizabeth (3-2) at Falmouth.

Moie Aaskov made 11 saves for the Yachtsmen. Paris Bethel and Lauren Steidl each had three goals for the Capers.
