Gov. Paul LePage will lead a delegation of Maine-based businesses on a trade mission to South America this Fall.

LePage will visit the cities of Sao Paulo, Brazil, and Santiago, Chile, marking the first trade mission to South America by a Maine governor since 1997.

“I look forward to leading this mission to not only open up new markets, but to attract investment and jobs into our state,” LePage said, in a prepared statement.

The Chile-Brazil trade mission is scheduled for Nov. 12-19.
