FREEPORT — There will be ramp closures tonight on Interstate 295 due to construction, according to the Maine Department of Transportation.
• The Exit 20 southbound on-ramp will be closed from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Motorists may use either Exit 22 (Mallett Drive) in Freeport or Exit 17 (Route 1) in Yarmouth to enter I-295 southbound.
• The Exit 24 northbound on- and off-ramp will be closed from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. Motorists may use Exit 22 (Mallett Drive) in Freeport to exit/enter I-295 northbound.
