GORHAM – Andrew Jones scored at 21:18 of the second half Thursday and Scarborough went on to a 1-0 victory against Gorham in a Southern Maine Activities Association schoolboy soccer game.

Pat Stanton recorded 11 saves for the shutout for Scarborough (3-0).

Carter Bowers saved 14 shots for Gorham (2-1).

MARSHWOOD 5, THORN-TON ACADEMY 1: Dan Veino and Alex McLean scored two goals each to lead Marshwood (2-1) over Thornton Academy (1-1-1) at Saco.

The Hawks took a 4-0 lead in the first half and held the Trojans scoreless until Alex Pickering converted on a late corner kick.

Bryan Rawksi scored the Hawks’ first goal, unassisted. Max McCoomb finished with three assists.

SACOPEE VALLEY 7, A.R. GOULD 0: Ryan Moulton, Trey Watson and Justin Stacey each had two goals as the Hawks (2-0) handled the Bears (0-2) at South Portland.

Nate Foster also scored and Mitch Barton stopped five shots for the Hawks.

Eric Sawyer made 11 saves for A.R. Gould.

MASSABESIC 3, WEST-BROOK 2: The Mustangs (1-2) scored three goals in the first half and held off the Blue Blazes (0-3) at Westbrook.

Jacob Pelchat put in a pass from Hunter Duncan in the 16th minute, Tyler Pitts scored with 10 minutes left in the half and Duncan got the last one about four minutes later.

Tyler Gaudreau scored following a long pass from Owen Gillis in the 11th minute and Luther Williams scored unassisted in the second half for the Blue Blazes.

Andrew Wicklund made 12 saves for Massabesic. Austin Blake had four saves for the Blue Blazes.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 11, WELLS 0: D.J. Nicholas had three goals and two assists as the Panthers (2-1) downed the Warriors (0-1) at Yarmouth.

Sam Leishman added two goals, and Ryan Rousseau had a goal and three assists.

FREEPORT 2, POLAND 0: Connor Dietrich scored the first goal from Jack Dawe with 22:36 left in the first half as Freeport (2-1) stopped the Knights (0-3) at Poland.

Zach Greene scored the second goal from Sawyer Williams with 10 minutes remaining in the half.

KENNEBUNK 4, SANFORD 0: John Grillo scored in each half and John Burns made five saves to lead Kennebunk (1-1-1) over the Redskins (0-3) at Sanford.

Griffin Drigotas and Nick Hussey also scored.

Jim Parks made 13 saves for Sanford.

SOUTH PORTLAND 7, BIDDEFORD 0: Nem Kaurin scored twice as the Red Riots (2-1) handled the Tigers (0-3) at South Portland.

Also scoring were Damjan Draskovic, Akiba Davis, Jack Lano, Will Bushey and Ryan Pelletier. Draskovic added two assists.

The Red Riots held Biddeford without a shot on goal.

WINDHAM 7, NOBLE 1: Brian Soucy had two goals and two assists to lead the Eagles (2-1) past Noble (1-2) at Windham.

Robby Lentine added a goal and an assist. Dakota Cummings, Ian Mills, Mitch Hodge and Robbie Hamilton also scored for Windham.

YARMOUTH 2, GREELY 0: Ryan Maguire and Travis Hamre scored first-half goals to lift the Clippers (1-2) over the Rangers (1-2) at Yarmouth.

Nate Gallagher assisted Hamre’s goal and Chris Knaub made three saves for the shutout.

MORSE 1, MAINE CENTRAL INSTITUTE 0: Garrett Robson scored from Max Rawson after 11 minutes of the second half to lift the Shipbuilders (2-0) over the Huskies (1-1) at Bath.

Morse held a 17-5 advantage in shots.

WINSLOW 3, OCEANSIDE 1: Gabe Smith scored three goals to lead the Black Raiders (1-1) over Oceanside (0-2) at Winslow.

Finn Ducker had an assist for Winslow.

Jordan Eoutreluigne scored for Oceanside.
