It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Joseph Lacy, 41, beloved son, brother and friend. A celebration of life service will take place on Sept. 30, 2011 at the Laurel Hill Cemetery Mausoleum at 1 p.m. A gathering will follow at Most Holy Trinity in Saco, all are welcome. Guy R. Champagne, 74, passed away at the Gosnell House surrounded by his loving family on Sept. 24, after a brief but intense battle with lung cancer. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Guy’s name to the Gosnell Hospice House in Scarborough. A private family service is being planned.

Doris A. Chadbourne, 88, a longtime resident of Ellsworth Street in Springvale, died Sept. 22 at Cadigan Lodge at the Highlands in Topsham, after a lengthy illness. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main St., Springvale. A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Sanford First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Virginia E. Gass officiating. A luncheon will immediately follow in the church vestry.  Burial will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Oakdale Cemetery.
