SANFORD – Connor McGehee scored three goals to get Sanford (2-8) started in a 5-1 victory over Biddeford (0-9) at Sanford.

McGehee scored twice in the first half and opened the second half with his third goal for a 3-0 lead.

Jimmy Parsks and Josh Allen added second-half goals for the Redskins. Matt Ruck provided the goal for the Tigers.

Biddeford goalie Jeff Thompson tallied 19 saves on 20 shots. Bryce Lambert made two saves on three shots for Sanford.

PINE TREE ACADEMY: 6, A.R. GOULD 2: Drew Goorhuis and Jo Reed paced Pine Tree Academy (6-0)  with two goals each in a win over A.R. Gould (4-6) at South Portland.

Lucas Krzywonand Chris Wilday accounted for Pine Tree’s other two scores.

A.R. Gould’s offense came from Moses Losuk, who scored twice, and Dominique Ammerell, who assisted on both goals.

A.R. Gould goalie Eric Sawyer compiled 16 saves. Pine Tree keeper Zack Wilbay made five stops.

BUCKFIELD 7, GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 1: Jacob Balley scored three goals to lead Buckfield (5-6) in a victory over Greater Portland Christian Academy (6-5) at South Portland.

Dustin Damon added two goals, Alan Henrdrick and Kyle Chabe chipped in a goal apiece.

Greater Portland’s goal came from Ryan Waugh off a pass from Adam Simpson.

SACOPEE VALLEY 8, WELLS 0: Trey Watson had two goals and two assists to lead the Hawks (8-1-2) over the Warriors (1-8) at South Hiram.

Jeff Taylor, Ryan Moulton, Ken Bouchey, Nate Foster, Justin Ray and Mike Anderson also scored.

Mitchell Barton had two saves for his eighth shutout. Gavin Connors made nine saves for Wells.
