OSSIPEE, N.H. — David Hobson is back behind bars in the jail he escaped from Thursday, in an isolation cell under suicide watch.

Hobson, who turns 34 today, was transferred to the Carroll County Jail after being caught by deputy U.S. marshals Tuesday night in Rochester, N.H. after five days on the run.

Hobson is due to be arraigned this afternoon in Ossipee District Court, authorities said.

Hobson arrived back at the jail at about 3 a.m. He escaped Thursday by scaling a fence topped with razor wire in the recreation area.

Hobson is currently under constant observation, jail officials said.
